About
Considered the largest erratic boulder in the canton of Zurich, the Pflugstein is located just above this distinguished half-timbered house dating from 1750 and lends its name to this idyllic restaurant 550m above sea level. The interior comprises an attractive wood-panelled space and a room with a fireplace; outside, the terrace beneath the boughs of plane trees comes into its own in the warm seasons. The service team overseen by the charming Jeannine Meili also deserves a mention. The kitchen prepares classic, regional and seasonal dishes made from fresh ingredients – à la carte or as a set menu. Tip: try the tender boiled beef!
