A fun dining experience! The fresh, seasonal food is delicious, and the service is cordial. Everything is pleasingly down-to-earth – just as you would expect in a "wine tavern". The wine and game, like most of the ingredients, are sourced from the region. Chef Christian Knefler's dishes are bursting with flavour and aromas; the "char on saffron and fennel with black rice" is particularly tasty, but the classic rump steak, too, is on point. Delightful courtyard terrace. N.B. There are two sittings – at 5pm and 8pm.
