Set against the picturesque backdrop of the Val Serina, this venue preserves the timeless charm of genuine family management, reflected in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The deliberately concise menu pays tribute to local tradition through dishes of genuine character: from carpaccio of Orobica bresaola accompanied by a broccoli timbale and pecorino fondue, to the classic casoncelli with butter and pancetta. In season, mushrooms and truffles take centre stage – among them the prized black truffle of Bracca – while polenta, offered in several variations (Bergamasca or taragna, plain or enriched with strachitunt or a fried egg), remains the undisputed star. In fine weather, a panoramic terrace invites guests to enjoy the surrounding landscape. Front of house is managed entirely by women, attentive and smiling; at the stove, the man of the house tends faithfully to flavours and traditions.
