This offshoot of the Michelin star Italian restaurant, Hofke van Bazel, is just upstairs from its elder sibling. The trattoria’s romantic interior is perfect for a date night, possibly alfresco on the patio overlooking the picturesque church of St Peter’s. Ingredients from Puglia take the limelight, but the chef also celebrates other regions of Italy with a distinct fondness for authentic Mediterranean flavours. The chef might pair crispy cod with slow-baked sliced potatoes and onions and a creamy sauce of mussels, tomatoes and shellfish. Purebred Italian classics also feature prominently, such as vitello tonnato and ossobuco. Extensive menu (including a vegetarian lineup).
