Friends Robert Ortega and Jhonny Delgado are creating something special in this neighborhood eatery, offering a casual yet elevated dining experience. The ever-evolving, seasonal menu consists of eight or so dishes, with everything made in house. The crab arepa, a classical Venezuelan cornmeal patty, filled with lovely deep-fried soft-shell crab and finished with a nice tangy chimichurri salsa, is delicious. Cheese Benedict with cured ham, fried mushrooms, rich Parmesan cream and topped with poached eggs, is served with lightly toasted shokupan (Japanese milk bread) which is perfect for mopping up all of the sauce. Finish with one of the best flans in Miami and their superb coffee.
