About
André Stolle's fine dining restaurant boasts a lovely location in one of the city's oldest streets, in a neighbourhood oozing Hanseatic charm. Inside, meanwhile, the compact space has a pleasingly laid-back and intimate feel to it. In his "Hamburg Renaissance" set menu, he puts a creative modern spin on traditional North German cuisine. For example, "Fischfrikadelle oder Bremer" is a crispy, wafer-thin potato tartlet filled with tender yellowtail mackerel and topped with a delicately spiced remoulade. The set menu is available in a five- or six-course format – and you can order a signature dish as an add-on if you wish. When it comes to wine flights, there is a choice of the "Classic Pairing" and "Fine&Rare Pairing". It is also worth perusing the nicely curated wine list.
