About
The first immersive speakeasy bar in Yaroslavl
The first speakeasy bar in Yaroslavl is located in the city center and offers guests not just cocktails, but a complete immersion into an atmosphere of seclusion, primal energy, and sensory experience. The concept of the establishment draws inspiration from the image of a cave as one of the first spaces in human culture: two levels, natural stone and wood finishes, elements of rock art, subdued artificial lighting and "live" candles, the aroma of Palo Santo, and ethnic musical rhythms. The space is two-story: upstairs there is a bar and a communal table, downstairs there is a lounge area with a simulated fireplace and shamanic rhythms. The bar can accommodate only 18 guests. There is no stage or loud music here; instead, guests can expect a deep, individual experience, a lively atmosphere, and an intimate presentation. The cocktail menu is based on classics and reinterpretations. The author's drinks are updated every two weeks: guests are offered five new cocktails, each corresponding to a specific style – spritz, highball, sour, old fashioned, or sweet. A unique feature of the bar is its interactive approach: a guest chooses a stone that symbolizes a certain state, and the bartender offers a cocktail that matches their energy. Exquisite snacks are served with the cocktails: tartare with truffle aioli, guacamole with nachos, farm-fresh delicacies, cheeses, antipasti, and a signature "cigar" made from rye dough filled with chicken pâté and cranberry sauce. The Cave operates by appointment only and requires a password.
