Culinary excellence is guaranteed at Hotel Stein, thanks to chef-patron Mike Schiller and his dishes based on high-quality ingredients. Available by pre-order with 24 hours' notice, the four-course surprise menu "PhantasTisch" showcases the chef’s passion for inventive plant-based cuisine, with the possibility of adding a fish or meat course. The wonderfully aromatic "vegetable essence" is always an optional extra. As an alternative to the set menu, there is an à la carte selection of French classics that boast impressive depth of flavour and character – standouts include the remarkably robust "cassoulet de homard breton" and the exquisitely tender "suprême de faisan classique". Out on the restaurant floor, friendly maître d' Melanie Stein-Schiller is in charge of service. The bright conservatory and charming garden terrace are delightful spots in which to dine. Top tip: Head to the shop for house-made delicacies to take home.
