Chef Alexander Maron is an experienced chef with a background in Moscow and Israel, having collaborated with restaurateurs Arkady Novikov and William Lambert, and having managed the kitchen of the Rishon cafe at the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center.
At the "RUNA" restaurant, located in the "ZAONEZHYE" boutique hotel, Alexander Maron skillfully combines Northern cuisine with recipes from his international experience. He pairs local Karelian ingredients with Middle Eastern spices, and uses local game, for example, baked in a tagine.
