Majerca is the intimate restaurant of an elegant boutique hotel nestled in the valleys of the Julian Alps, a short distance from the bucolic Lake Bohinj. The chef-patron, a native of the area, combines international techniques with a contemporary vision, expressing them with balance and sensitivity. Ingredients from the surrounding valleys take centre stage: the trout, offered in several preparations; the daily soups, typically rich in flavour; and the meats, among which the duck breast stands out as one of the most appreciated dishes. The wine list shows a clear preference for Slovenian labels, which account for approximately 90% of the selection.
