About
A Far Eastern seafood bar featuring delicacies from the Pacific Ocean, prepared to enhance their natural flavors.
The Far East begins here. Experience the taste of the sea: Scallops cultivated on a family farm in the protected area of Vityaz Bay; Mussels and oysters harvested in the Khassan district of our region; Fish from the Sea of Japan. We offer Pacific Ocean delicacies prepared to highlight their natural flavors at Rakushka seafood bar & kitchen. Why should you visit us? First, as we mentioned, we offer fresh, local seafood, pure flavors, and unique dishes that you won't find in other restaurants in the city. Second, our prices are affordable (compared to similar concepts). We want to break the stereotype that seafood is a premium product. Third, we have the largest aquarium in a restaurant in the Far East. The aquarium holds 1.5 tons of seawater. It serves as a temporary holding area for live shellfish: scallops, oysters, and vongole, for a few days, as well as sea cucumbers and sea urchins. We only keep a limited amount, no more than 5-7 days. When we receive shellfish from the sea, we initially place them on the upper level of the aquarium. Then, we gradually move them to the lower levels. Fourth, we have an open kitchen. That's why we're a seafood bar. The heart of our establishment is the open kitchen – the seafood bar, where you can sit, watch the food being prepared, interact with guests and staff. To ensure efficient operation, the chefs place the shellfish on ice, which is kept fresh for only a few hours. Fifth, the interior design. At every turn in our Rakushka, you'll find something unique and authentic. For example, a boat purchased from a local fisherman, which we restored and named after a woman, Marusia, in accordance with maritime tradition. The name was chosen deliberately, as it's the name of the owner's daughter. However, to maintain a balance and ensure a comfortable experience for every guest, we've added elegant chandeliers. This creates an atmosphere where you can feel comfortable in both casual attire and evening wear. We also have antique chests of drawers, a wooden table, and wooden slabs that serve as a unifying element in the main hall, chairs made from Ossetian beech wood, designed by us, and lamps made from fish and shellfish baskets. Our walls are adorned with drawings created using a special technique. We could talk about it for hours, but the best way to experience the taste of the Far East is to visit Rakushka seafood bar & kitchen.
