"Ptichki" Family Restaurant: A Place for All Ages in a Historic Building

The "Ptichki" family restaurant is located in the right wing of the historic Simanovskaya Mill building. It features its own entrance from the waterfront, a grand staircase, a gallery along the windows with views of the river, a hall on a raised platform, a historical hall with a fireplace, and a children's play area. For the convenience of guests with children, there are high chairs, a changing table, and a special children's restroom. An animator works in the children's play area.

The "Ptichki" restaurant has several photo opportunities. The hall with the fireplace features authentic artifacts from 19th-century Yekaterinburg, including bricks from the Gustomesov cooperative, a railway track with the Demidov factory stamp, and painted tiles. The wallpaper and tableware are made by manufacturers from the time of Ilya Simanov and evoke the cozy atmosphere of a home with history.

"Ptichki" offers a menu with classic dishes from home-style cuisine, as well as a special children's menu. Chef Ivan Orlov prepares traditional Yekaterinburg dishes for lunch, everyday meals, and special occasions for the whole family. The menu includes Russian salads and hot dishes, homemade seasonal soups, pies, compotes, berry drinks, and beloved classic desserts served with fragrant tea.

The "Bird's Nest" at the mill is a cozy place for both adults and children. Throughout the restaurant's interior, you'll find images of birds – birdling-shaped tags in the coat check, specially designed wallpapers depicting birds of the Ural region. There are knitted, painted, and embroidered birds, but no live birds in cages.
