Co-owner Nancy Silverton rules this corner of Melrose Avenue with several restaurants, and this longstanding hotspot boasts a sunny-yellow exterior and orange canopy for a Mediterranean scene. Donning bare wood tables and skylights, the dining room is casual in look, but from the salads to the pizzas, one will find proper care and sourcing. Pizzas topped with the likes of leeks and lemon zest or mozzarella and Fresno chiles land with puffy, golden edges. Not to be missed is an extensive selection of pies, cakes and gelato that celebrate the seasons.
