Pineapple and Pearls continues to lean into a highly theatrical form of luxury, where oversized Champagne bottles, balloons, pop music and playful tableside presentations create an atmosphere closer to an extravagant dinner party than a traditional tasting menu restaurant. Chef Aaron Silverman’s menu draws inspiration from Southern cuisine, nostalgia and luxury ingredients, often presented with a sense of humor and deliberate excess. Courses may range from theatrical bites, like the Beggar’s Purse with caviar and crème fraîche, to more whimsical reinterpretations such as walnut lobster inspired by honey walnut shrimp. Throughout the meal, the service team enthusiastically narrates the restaurant’s many references and stories, while cocktails and wine pairings remain central to the overall experience.
