While everyone was turning their attention to Asian cuisine, a corner offering a new type of American street food – cheesesteaks – opened in Moscow. What is a cheesesteak? It's thinly sliced marbled beef, fried and placed on a long bun. The juicy meat, covered in cheese sauce, gains an even richer flavor, which is also enhanced by the soft bun. This authentic street food originated in Philadelphia in the 1950s and became a popular snack. After visiting the United States, Anton Frolov, the creator of the wine bar "Wine and Burger," decided to open a cheesesteak place in Moscow. This is not just another franchise; Phill's is the result of years of work with different types of meat, extensive research, and adaptation of recipes to use local ingredients.
