Housed in Strandhotel Dünenmeer, Ostseelounge has much to offer. In the clean-lined, chic restaurant, floor-to-ceiling windows afford wonderful views of the dunes and the sea – romantic sunsets included! Chef Christopher Huhnstock-Kerber presents a modern, seasonal set menu, showcasing predominantly regional ingredients with his own creative touch. Clearly structured and with refined contrasts, harmonious dishes such as "Alpine pasture-raised lamb, onion, apple" or "fermented whey, fennel pollen, dill" stand out. A three-, five- or seven-course menu is available, also in a vegetarian version. "Midweek Gourmet Special": On Wed and Thu, the various set menu options come at a reduced price. Service is warm and professional under the leadership of the team's sommelier, Bettina Huhnstock-Kerber. Tip: The chef's table right by the open kitchen is well worth considering. There is also a lovely terrace. For an à la carte alternative, the hotel has another restaurant: Kaminlounge.
