OGONЁK: A Farm-to-Table Restaurant. Authentic Far Eastern Cuisine.

Why is the restaurant called "farm-to-table"?

Our restaurant is called "farm-to-table" not only because we primarily use products sourced directly from the producers themselves (we avoid working with resellers of agricultural products, as they undermine agriculture by buying products from producers at unfairly low prices), and these products are local, from the Far East. As cliché as it may sound, we actively support local producers.

For us, "farm-to-table" is a philosophy. It's a deep conviction that food consumed by humans should be environmentally friendly, natural, healthy, simple, understandable, and of high quality. Furthermore, environmental sustainability and responsible consumption are priorities in our work. We collect used batteries for proper recycling, we use paper packaging and paper bags for deliveries because they do not pollute the environment, and the paper used for our packaging is recycled and made from renewable resources.

We strive to offer our guests not only premium cuts of beef, but also so-called "alternative" steaks and other cuts, such as "flank," osso buco, tongue, and cheeks, because we believe that killing an animal for just 5-10 kilograms of premium meat is a form of environmental extremism. Our chefs use all their skill to make every cut of meat incredibly delicious.

One of the features of the restaurant's menu is its dynamism, in terms of using seasonal ingredients. We know and track the seasons when certain products (berries, seafood, mushrooms, fish, and other gifts of the taiga and ocean) are available, and we always include dishes made with them in our seasonal specials.

OGONЁK is a restaurant offering delicious and healthy, author-driven cuisine, with a focus on the Far Eastern flavor. We welcome all guests, and we always have something to surprise both residents of the city and its visitors.
