Oettinger's Restaurant

The Oettinger brothers bring great dedication to the running of this family business, whose history stretches back over 150 years. Michael Oettinger's contemporary take on classic French-inspired cuisine revolves around excellent produce – such as superb French Challans duck, the pink-roasted breast of which is wonderfully showcased with preserved lemon, okra pods and sweet potato. The two set menus comprise three to five courses – you can also swap or add on dishes. On Wednesdays, the restaurant serves exclusively the very reasonably priced two- or three-course "Midweek Special Menu" – an ideal introduction. The country house atmosphere is cosy; service is friendly, attentive and professional. Should you wish to stay overnight, Hotel Hirsch has lovely guestrooms.
