Moscow, Lenininskaya Sloboda, 26, 1st floor, MC ROOMER Saistreetmoscow.com Concept by: Maxim Popov "Restaurateur & Chef" on the project: "Gastronomic Street" is one of the largest projects in its segment, located near the Avtozavodskaya metro station. The concept was developed by the experienced Maxim Popov, who previously worked on the renovation and management of the Danilovsky Market. His new project features a beautifully designed space (one of the best among its competitors), housing approximately 40 diverse vendors, all of the highest quality. The food selection is extensive – from pho soup at the iconic Vietnamese restaurant Bò to khychins at "Dagestan Shop," from burgers at Cola Burger to oysters and other seafood at Seafood Factory, from fresh pasta made according to Italian recipes at "Pasta e Basta" to sushi and Japanese curry at Yo! Curry & Sushi, where the renowned chef Seiji Kusano is directly involved. In addition, the food market has a liquor license, so in the center of this "food city" you'll find the Blacksmith Irish Pub, boasting an entire wall of bottles, craft beer on tap, wine, and cocktails. However, even all of this isn't enough to guarantee a constant stream of customers. When planning the project, the focus was likely on local residents and nearby offices. These offices fill the food market during lunchtime, while long queues are rarely seen during other hours. This is likely due to the lack of significant external traffic and, possibly, a mixed pricing policy – there are both very affordable vendors with an average check of 400-500 rubles, and more upscale establishments, suitable for a central location, with a check of around 1000 rubles. The district where this is located is not a poor urban area, but it's not easy to break the habit of Muscovites who prefer to travel to the city center for a pleasant experience (and it's only two metro stops from here, almost to the Kremlin). That's what makes it interesting.
