A restaurant-cheese factory with a unique menu, located in a picturesque suburban forest near Tambov. The atmosphere of a Swiss chalet, dishes cooked in a wood-fired oven, and cheeses made on-site – a true fairytale for gourmets.

The "MARFA" restaurant-cheese factory is located in a beautiful suburban forest near Tambov, just 15 minutes from the city center, and is part of a modern urban resort – the PLES park-hotel. The interior design of the restaurant was developed by the Viva Design studio. The project's authors created not just a family restaurant, but a real fairytale with three main characters. The first is the soul and heart of the restaurant – the wood-fired oven named Marfa, made in a neo-Russian style from hand-crafted "Igumnov" tiles in a deep, vibrant turquoise color. The second, and no less important, character is the royal-grade wych elm wood used in the wall, ceiling, and furniture finishes. In addition to the decor, the elm plays an important role in the architecture – custom-made solid wood panels allowed for the complete elimination of columns inside the hall, so that guests can enjoy a panoramic view of the pine forest, the open kitchen, and the soothing fire from the oven from any point in the restaurant. The third character in this fairytale trio is a set of three chandeliers designed by the project's designers, which are decorated with wreaths of fresh flowers on festive occasions. This combination creates the atmosphere of a Swiss chalet, where harmony, warmth, and comfort reign. The restaurant's unique menu features several different culinary directions. The most important are the dishes cooked in the wood-fired oven – a true Neapolitan-style pizza with 4 cheeses or Tambov-style smoked pork, beef braised in the oven with roasted potatoes, focaccia with burrata and sweet tomatoes, and, of course, cheeses made on-site, using traditional Italian methods from natural cow's milk, without any additives or preservatives. Today, the cheese factory produces 11 types of cheese, including burrata, mozzarella, caciotta, and stracciatella. Guests can purchase their favorite cheeses in the restaurant's shop, and for those who want to test their skills in cheesemaking, master classes on making burrata are held in the restaurant's open kitchen. A special place in the menu is reserved for signature desserts, such as the restaurant's famous Napoleon cake and hazelnut pastries with condensed milk. The restaurant can accommodate 100 guests in a banquet setting and offers a number of advantages for both individual guests and corporate clients. These include a separate entrance with a reception desk and cloakroom, panoramic windows with views of the forest, the ability to install audio and video equipment, its own free parking, and an open kitchen for conducting master classes. In warm weather, in addition to the main hall, there is a cozy summer terrace with views of the forest.
