MaMi's

Having gained many years of experience in the fine dining sector, Marcel and Miriam Hertrampf have opened this laid-back little restaurant. For starters, the location is lovely: the street lined with tall trees and buzzing with a lively atmosphere has a charm all of its own – the terrace on the wide pavement is especially inviting. In the kitchen, patron Marcel serves up aromatic modern fusion cuisine, drawing on a wealth of culinary influences from Spanish to Asian. The cuisine is predominantly vegetarian, with fish and meat used sparingly. Flavoursome dishes are served as an eight- or 10-course sharing set menu or à la carte. "MaMi's Bolo" is especially delicious: a spicy beef bolognese wonderfully refined with Asian spices and served on crisp little gem lettuce with sour cream and crispy onions. The service team led by hostess Miriam is charming and professional. As a trained sommelier, the chef's sister provides very sound wine recommendations; the list features over 200 labels.
