Madame Roche

A three-story restaurant and residence belonging to the enigmatic Asian woman, Madame Roche, located in the Zamoskvorechye district. The 1100 m² space is a creation of the creative collective Placebo/25.

Madame Roche evokes the bohemian and alluring atmosphere of a trippy Hong Kong mansion on Aldrich Street, recreating the feeling of sweet intoxication, and combines it with a cabaret, a cocktail bar laboratory, and a unique world of multicultural cuisine inspired by the St. Petersburg culinary school. The first floor is designed in the style of an Indonesian "joglo" house, featuring two focal points: a pink wood-burning oven and a pink fireplace. The second floor includes a laboratory and a circular bar in the style of an industrial pharmacy, as well as the "Cabaret Mutant" with exclusive Italian acoustics from Peqoud Acoustics. The third floor, which also serves as a rooftop terrace, features a patio oasis with a grill and a concert setup. The entire interior, from the furniture to the mango wood parquet and hooks, is handcrafted in various corners of the world, including at the ASKETI.CA furniture workshop located in the center of the island of Java. The mansion houses over 1000 different artifacts from 23 countries around the world, and visitors are often given tours after dinner to learn about many of them.
