Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance by email, choosing from three menus: tradition, land, or fish. The rest is history, if not legend, for what has been one of the best trattorias in the province (we’d venture to say the region) since the 1960s. In a corner of the Parmesan Apennines, Mariella continues to delight guests with the same family management, enhanced by a Japanese cook who adds a slightly more modern touch to select recipes. Recently, a comfortable lounge area with good background music has been added.
