In the heart of the Po Delta, a romantically secluded farmhouse on a tiny islet welcomes guests in a suspended atmosphere, amid unspoiled landscapes and surprising wildlife. Before entering, pause for a moment: the silence is broken only by the song of dozens of birds populating the lagoon. In the kitchen, fish reigns supreme, celebrated in classic preparations such as golden-fried seafood and the steamed fish salad with vegetables and house-made mayonnaises – from traditional to an intriguing squid ink version. Eel dishes are a must, including the typical preparation over embers. In season, allow yourself to be tempted by the caramelized beignets with mandarin sauce, a tribute to the legendary Trigabolo.
