About
Remotely situated on the island of Bornholm – and only open from May to early October – this is the original and also the more relaxed of the well-known Kadeau restaurants. Tucked away at the end of a small road, with sweeping views over wild dunes and out to sea, it comes with an upscale beach cabin vibe and a lovely terrace. The tasting menu offers around 14 creative courses of top-quality Danish ingredients and vegetables from the restaurant’s garden, both fresh and preserved. Some dishes, like the ‘Garden Plate’, are simple, while others such as the ‘mahogany clam, shiso and hazelnut’ are contrastingly complex.
