The home of Claudia and Riccardo, Il Piastrino is the realization of a long‑nurtured dream, lovingly refined and enriched year after year amid the rolling hills of Montefeltro. Here, the warmth and simplicity of the countryside blend harmoniously with contemporary details and furnishings. At the heart of it all is chef Agostini’s cuisine which, supported by technical mastery and creativity, brings out the best in seasonal, locally sourced ingredients. His complex and carefully constructed dishes never feel contrived, but instead convey his vision with balance and flavour, occasionally extending their reach into Tuscany. No sea fish here, but freshwater species such as trout and eel, meat dishes are more frequent, and particular interest is shown in aromatic herbs, as well as the outstanding mushrooms of a picturesque territory between hill and mountain.
