About
An exclusive little area in Hotel Görtler has been carved out for this restaurant. Its colour scheme echoes the surrounding nature – the tables upholstered in forest-green Alcantara are particularly striking. There is an open kitchen area, where diners can see some of the dishes being finished and plated up. The atmosphere is cosy and intimate, and the service is charming and relaxed yet sophisticated – thanks to the team, from the sommelier to the chefs, including chef-patron Johannes Steingrüber himself. With its creative, pleasingly pared-back combinations, the seven- to 10-course menu makes an impression – bold dishes such as "Jerusalem artichoke, shiso, pepper" or "pigeon, papaya, Puy lentils" are full of personality and harmoniously balanced intensity. Clearly discernible Asian influences add refined touches. To go with the food, there are wine pairings or an alcohol-free alternative.
