The first fish restaurant, located on the picturesque shore of Lake Onega. The restaurant's menu features dishes made with vendace, sprat, cod, flounder, halibut, herring, and wolf fish. There are dozens of items on the menu.
"Frigate" restaurant is the first fish restaurant in Karelia with a panoramic view of Lake Onega. Here, you can sample traditional Karelian cuisine, as well as a wide variety of dishes made with locally sourced fish. The fresh fish is delivered directly from the fishing vessel, where it is frozen only once – immediately on board, using a special technology. This means that the fish will not be dry or, conversely, watery, as can happen with products that have been thawed and refrozen multiple times and stored under conditions that would make any connoisseur shudder. The chefs prepare the dishes with great care to preserve the flavor, juice, and beneficial nutrients of the fish.
The menu includes dishes such as mussels in white wine, North Sea cod fillet cooked in a Josper charcoal oven, a carpaccio of Murmansk scallops, venison stew with white mushrooms, and Karelian fish soup. The restaurant's menu is carefully crafted, offering a blend of modern culinary trends and traditional cooking methods, as well as a selection of fish and meat delicacies and unique desserts.
