Dolce Stil Novo alla Reggia

A truly regal setting, and it couldn’t be otherwise: the restaurant entrance is located in the inner courtyard of the Reggia di Venaria, the splendid Savoy hunting residence. A lift takes guests up to the fourth floor, where elegant dining rooms inspired by the style of the 1950s and 60s open out onto a terrace overlooking the gardens. In fine weather, dining outdoors is an experience within the experience, thanks to a truly unique panorama. The cuisine starts from the extraordinary products of Piedmont’s valleys, then ranges to the rest of the region and, sometimes, beyond, with dishes that swing between tradition, featuring a significant vegetable component. At lunch, only a carefully composed à la carte selection is offered, while in the evening there are also tasting menus, with dishes chosen at the chef’s discretion.
