About

A network restaurant offering crab and other seafood dishes in a "comfort food" style.

Concept by Arkady Novikov, Head Chef Kamel Benamar.

"Restaurant Chef" on the concept: The new restaurant by Arkady Novikov, which will be part of a chain and will open in at least two more similar locations in the city, has a very simple idea: seafood for everyday enjoyment. It seems likely that this restaurant will solidify the crab trend, definitively moving the product into the mainstream, something that will no longer surprise anyone. Since the main goal of the project is not to impress a jaded audience, but to demonstrate the versatility of the format and the food, the menu features exactly what's needed – from crab crab-rolls on incredibly buttery brioche with fries (790 rubles) and bruschetta (500 rubles) to cutlets (450 rubles) and a nearly Singapore-style crab with chili (1200 rubles). You can now relatively easily sample various types of crab – Kamchatka crab (650 rubles per 100g), spiny, hairy, and striped crabs (600 rubles per 100g) – even in the city center. The tasting menu also includes grilled avocado filled with crab meat (800 rubles), served for some reason on ice, Chilian and Magadan shrimp (620 rubles and 650 rubles respectively for 300g), oysters (280 rubles – Crimean, 350 rubles – Sakhalin), sea urchins (250 rubles), and churros for dessert (250 rubles). Furthermore, the open kitchen will soon feature gadgets for making homemade noodles and other components for ramen. This genre will become the second culinary aspect of the concept, perhaps for those who might tire of crab.
