Tucked away on the outskirts of the city centre, the exceptional quality of this restaurant’s food makes the journey well worth the trip. Drawing inspiration from pedigree Serbian cuisine, it proudly showcases local and regional ingredients; most of the ewe’s milk cheese, for example, comes direct from the restaurant’s own farm in the Homolje Mountains. Among the house specialties, the shoulder of lamb matured in dry aging cases is highly recommended, as is the house-made Serbian bread. Hearty, generous portions.
