Among the streets of the city centre, one “approaches” – the meaning of abocar in Spanish – Mariano’s cuisine, where Argentine origins and a decidedly globetrotting spirit, shared with his partner Camilla, give rise to an original gourmet proposal, capable of fusing two cultures in a personal and harmonious gastronomic language. The choice ranges from a concise à la carte selection to tasting menus of varying length, dedicated either to fish – with adherence to the Hadria 37 project for sustainable fishing – or to meat; those wishing to create an individual journey may nevertheless freely choose any dish, including those featured on the menus. The dining room, with its contemporary atmosphere, is gracefully furnished: there is almost the feeling of eating in an elegant private home, an intimate setting that invites guests to slow down and allow themselves to be guided by the experience. In summer, those wishing to sit outdoors are advised to book well in advance.
