He began his career in the kitchens of Moscow restaurants, working with French chefs from the "first wave." He completed an internship and then worked in Belgium at a restaurant specializing in Flemish cuisine. He also had an internship in Italy, on the Ligurian coast.
He was born in Moscow and graduated from the Moscow State University of Food Production and Service with a degree in "Food Production Technology and Quality Control." He enjoys traveling and hunting.
