We grow fruit and herbs in our own garden, and we have partnered with the same small-scale producers for over 20 years. A large photovoltaic system powers our electricity supply; we recycle food scraps into biomass and vegetable waste into compost. Heating is provided by a wood chip system fuelled by waste from our own forest, and we manage a fallow deer enclosure as well as our own hunting grounds.
