Sergey Batukov is a chef with over 23 years of experience in the culinary industry. Throughout his career, he has established himself as a professional, creating unique concepts and high-quality cuisine in various restaurants around the world. He is a member of the National Guild of Chefs of Russia and a winner of the "Breakthrough of the Year 2009" forum in the "Best in Profession" category. From 2003 to 2009, he worked as acting head chef, sous chef, and then head chef at the restaurants "Nostalzhi," "Apartments," and "Mixture" in Moscow. He was the organizer of a celebratory reception in honor of the 60th anniversary of Victory Day at the Kremlin, the G8 Summit, and a formal reception hosted by the wife of the President of Russia, L.A. Putin. In 2005, he studied Thai cuisine at the "Exclusive" Culinary Excellence Center. In 2006, he completed courses in French cuisine at the Paul Bocuse Institute in Lyon, France. In 2009, he graduated from the Economic Institute with a degree in engineering technology. From 2009 to 2011, he was the brand chef for the "Segafredo" chain of Italian restaurants. In 2010, he completed courses in French pastry at the School of Gastronomy in Paris. From 2010 to 2011, he was a senior instructor at the "Vip-masters" Culinary Excellence Center, conducting culinary master classes. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a chef at the restaurants "Minselhoz" and "Kamchatka" in Moscow. From 2013 to 2015, he led the kitchen at the restaurant "Strana Kotoroy Net," creating a unique menu and atmosphere. From 2015 to 2016, he worked as the brand chef at the restaurant "Backstage" in Moscow. From 2016 to 2017, he was the chef at the restaurant "Valenok" in Moscow. From 2017 to 2019, he worked as an Executive Chef at the restaurants "Osh" and "Berezka" in Dubai and London. From 2019 to 2023, he held the position of managing partner at the "Lavanda" chain of restaurants in Sochi. From 2021 to May 2024, he was the brand chef at a premium restaurant located within the exclusive "XXII Karat" complex in Dubai. Today, Sergey is once again leading the kitchen at the restaurant "Strana Kotoroy Net," where he continues to create dishes that reflect the richness and diversity of global culinary traditions.
