About
Seraphima began her professional career at the age of 17, while studying at a culinary college. She immediately secured a practical training position at one of St. Petersburg's famous five-star hotels, and she ended up staying there to work. She has always loved sweets, and when she entered the professional kitchen, she tasted these delicacies – she experienced a sense of delight and realized that pastry arts were exactly what she should be doing. For 10 years, she worked in luxury hotels. She had business trips to Nice, Saint-Tropez, Monaco, and also to Paris – a source of inspiration for all pastry chefs. For the past 4 years, Seraphima Komochkova has worked at the Pullman five-star hotel in Sochi. And starting in March 2025, Seraphima joined the team of "Grand Hotel Moika 22" as the head pastry chef. "For me, work is more than just a job; it's a hobby and a way of life. I'm constantly thinking about new flavors, new textures, and combinations. I seek inspiration everywhere. I enjoy making people happy. That's very important to me. When I create a dessert, I always think about the person who will be eating it. I respect the guest and believe that they deserve the best and most delicious products. No vegetable fats or artificially synthesized ingredients."
