About
I'm a native of Nizhny Novgorod, and as long as I can remember, I've loved good food! I never thought I would end up working as a chef, though. But one summer, my aunt asked me to work as a waiter at her restaurant, which turned out to be her business. I agreed, not really thinking about it; I was only 13 years old at the time. I had just finished the 9th grade! When you start working as a waiter, you need to learn the menu, get to know the chefs, and find out all the details about the dishes. When I went into the kitchen, I met some really great people who told me everything I needed to know and showed me what was right and what was wrong. After a month, I realized that I wanted to work in the kitchen, so I applied to a culinary college, and that's where my journey began...
I started working in the kitchen, and I felt more comfortable there, surrounded by smart and knowledgeable people who were willing to share their knowledge. And after 16 years of working as a chef, then as a sous chef, I finally decided to become a head chef! I've been in that position for 2 months now.
My hobby is fishing! Of course, I also spend my free time with my wife and son. I love nature – I enjoy collecting mushrooms and berries.
