About
Igor Nesterov is the head pastry chef, an international consultant in the field of pastry arts, and the owner of the Verona confectionery shop in Khabarovsk. He frequently speaks at pastry and baking forums, and conducts seminars and master classes. He has been recognized with a diploma as an International Consultant in the field of pastry arts.
He studied pastry arts in Russia, Spain, and France. He considers the French pastry chef David Bonne to be his first and most important teacher, whose master classes opened up the modern world of pastry to Igor. He has also completed several courses at the House-Pastry Lab. by Maria Selyanina in Barcelona. At various times, he has been trained by renowned chefs such as Joaquim Prat (three Michelin stars), Oliver Magné at the National Institute Of La Bakery in Rouen, France, and the French "puff pastry artist" Joann Martan.
Currently, he serves as a permanent curator, leading his own courses in pastry and baking at the Stanfood Academy.
