Giuseppe's career includes working in Michelin-starred restaurants with renowned chefs: Claudio Rota (La Fenice, 1 Michelin star) and Pino Cutajar (La Madia, 2 Michelin stars). In Moscow, Davi led the kitchen of the legendary "Semifreddo" restaurant for seven years (working with Nino Graziano, 2 Michelin stars) – during his tenure, the restaurant was repeatedly featured in the lists of the best restaurants in the world according to San Pellegrino and the Le Soste guide. Currently, he holds the position of executive chef at the BUTLER and Buono restaurants. Among his notable achievements are accolades from Galt Millau, the Gambero Rosso fork, and inclusion in the Michelin Guide's recommended restaurants list for 2022. In 2024, Giuseppe received the "Chef of the Year" award from the "Best in the Industry 2024. Palm Branch of the Restaurant Business" awards.

Giuseppe was born in northern Italy, but he spent every summer with his grandmother in Sicily. It was there that Davi's interest in Sicilian cuisine, and in Italian gastronomy in general, first developed.
