Artyom Agafonov is the head chef at the "Yasnaya Polyana" restaurant complex. Artyom has been working in the food service industry for 9 years, with 6.5 years as a head chef. He is: - A member of the "Siberian Guild of Chefs and Pastry Chefs"; - A prize-winner in numerous culinary competitions; - Ranked among the top 10 chefs in Siberia in 2018; - A member of the Siberian Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers. "I love and value my profession. I believe it is one of the most in-demand. The profession of a chef is similar to the work of an artist. I want my children to follow in my footsteps someday," Artyom says.
Artyom is thirty years old and a Scorpio. He celebrates his birthday on October 27th, often during the worst weather. He was born in the village of Seryshevo, Amur Oblast, in the Russian Far East. When Artyom was five years old, he moved to Barnaul with his parents. In elementary school, he was a mischievous boy and struggled academically. However, things improved in middle school, and he dedicated himself to his studies, allowing him to graduate with a "good" grade. He then enrolled in the BTEK college, specializing in "food technology." He even managed to graduate with only one "C" grade. He has always been involved in sports, practicing boxing as a child, and competing in long-distance running and arm wrestling. To this day, Artyom continues to pursue sports, but now professionally in powerlifting. Currently, he is the absolute champion of Eurasia in the bicep curl and a master of sports of international class. Artyom is a master of sports in the deadlift and a candidate for master of sports in the bench press. Three training sessions a week – have you ever seen a fit head chef? We haven't!
