About
Chef from the Far East. I learned the basics from Ilya Kozhevnikov, who, in my opinion, is the best chef in the Far East. Hi, Ilya! 👋 I completed internships in Moscow and St. Petersburg, where I mastered European techniques and became acquainted with many products that are simply not available in my region. I worked as a private chef in Turkey, where I was fully responsible for the menu, sourcing, and service, all tailored to the guest's requests. I have experience working with some of the best chefs in Russia, which gave me an understanding of haute cuisine and the discipline required in top-tier restaurants. I combine the ingredients of the Far East with Asian flavor philosophies and a European approach.
I was born and raised in Khabarovsk, in a loving family. I studied at a gymnasium, where I seriously studied the Chinese language. Later, of course, my knowledge of the language diminished without practice. I also played basketball: our team was a leader in city competitions, and sports helped to strengthen my character and taught me how to work as a team. From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a chef. My career began at the Habo restaurant – it was my first job, which gave me the basic skills and an understanding of the culinary world. My main mentor in this profession was Ilya Kozhevnikov, a person who greatly influenced my future path. However, in the Far East, I encountered limitations in the availability of ingredients; it was not always possible to obtain the necessary ingredients for growth. Therefore, I decided to move south.
