About
Born in Apulia, the southernmost region of the Italian peninsula, he considers San Giovanni Valdarno, a small town in the heart of Tuscany, to be his second home. His family moved there when he was 12 years old, and it was there that his tastes were formed. Like any true Italian, his love of food was instilled in him by his mother and grandmother. His cuisine has been significantly influenced by the gastronomic traditions not only of his native Apulia and Tuscany, but also of his beloved Sicily.
