About

In Los Angeles, Alena Gera took courses on detox menus, chocolate, cheeses, and raw desserts at Matthew Kenney's culinary school. She also learned classical French baking at the "Ragout" culinary school under the guidance of François Bodrero, and vegan baking from Adrian Vu. Additionally, she completed a plant-based cooking course with Alice Aun. She also participated in a course led by Nicolas Kurtis in Portugal.

After graduating from the journalism faculty, Alena moved to Moscow with the dream of becoming a journalist. While working in television, Alena traveled to China, where she unexpectedly became interested in local products. The discovery of new and unfamiliar ingredients transformed cooking into a process of exploring flavor combinations and constant discoveries. Her colleagues were among her first fans, but the most valuable and surprising thing for Alena was the joy that this new hobby brought her. After moving to America, Alena discovered a new world of ingredients in gluten-free gastronomy, free from refined sugar, artificial colors, and harmful food additives. She generously shared all her discoveries on Instagram, thereby creating her first audience, the first enthusiasts of gluten-free desserts. The core philosophy of any of Alena's projects is the balance between deliciousness and health. There are no strict boundaries; instead, there is an expansion of familiar horizons and a flavor palette. Alena has 32,000 followers, and statistics are available upon request. She is married and has three children.
