Alexey Tkachenko is a prominent figure in Russian gastronomy. His mission is to create a new Russian cuisine: delicious, healthy, and modern. He works exclusively with locally sourced ingredients, drawing inspiration from tradition while incorporating modern techniques.
Alexey's passion for cooking emerged when he was just 13 years old. Thanks to his innate talent, he secured a position as a sous chef at the age of 19, and at 21, he became the head chef. Alexey explores the regional cuisines of Russia and knows over 50 different recipes for borscht, about which he is writing a book.
Today, he is a brand chef, podcaster, food activist, and a frequent guest on national media outlets.
He runs his own blog and participates in various television shows, including "Zvezdnaya Kuchnya," "Bolshoy Kesh," "Dobroe Utro," and "Utro Rossii," among others.
He also moderates professional culinary events, such as "Den' Rossii" at the Gazprom Arena (2023) and served as the brand chef at the culinary Olympics "Legenda" (2022, 2023).
He is a speaker at various professional events, including "Slet Shef-povarov," "Pir," "Legenda," "Zavtrak Shefa," and "Chefs Team Fest," among others.
