Last updated: 2 July 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of chefid.ru (the “Service”), operated by ChefID. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
ChefID is a verified public record of culinary professionals and the restaurants and bars where they work — names, workplaces, roles, lineage, and accolades.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
3. Contributions
You may contribute information about chefs, restaurants, bars, and their professional history. You represent that your contributions are accurate to the best of your knowledge and do not infringe the rights of others.
Contributions are subject to moderation. We may edit, remove, or decline any contribution.
By contributing, you grant ChefID a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute the contributed content as part of the Service.
4. Claiming and verification
A person who is the subject of a ChefID record may claim it. Claiming may require identity verification. Identity documents are processed for verification only and then discarded, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Verified or claimed status reflects our identity check at the time of verification; it is not an endorsement or a guarantee of any fact.
5. Accuracy and corrections
The record aims to be accurate but may contain errors. Data subjects may request corrections or removal of personal information through the contact channels in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- submit false, misleading, or defamatory information;
- upload unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights;
- scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the Service;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation;
- use the Service to violate any applicable law.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, and its compilation of data are protected by law. Trademarks and third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any record.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChefID is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation. Disputes are subject to the competent courts at the operator’s location, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
