This restaurant is an excellent reference point for discovering Brazilian cuisine, and a safe bet for enjoying a great meal! The concept follows the same line as the mother house: informal, inclusive cooking full of personality, combining the influences from the Sertanejo plains inherited from José Almeida (the chef’s father) with the innovative perspective of award-winning chef Rodrigo Oliveira. With predominantly cheerful colours and an open kitchen that livens up the room, the atmosphere gives off simplicity and good vibes, along with an intact identity expressed through seasonings and flavours. Its extensive offering includes snacks, sharing portions and traditional dishes, such as the hearty Favada slow-cooked with carne-seca, linguiça and bacon, or specialities like the delicious Rabada braised in stout, served with a creamy corn xerém and Mantiqueira cheese. Top tip: arrive early, as there are no reservations here and the place is always packed!
