Ciro's embodies Antwerp's soul and its ever-bustling, down-to-earth charm; its deliciously nostalgic interior offers a glimpse into the city of yesteryear. The proudly patriotic menu lineup seems to have stepped straight out of the 1960s: begin with haddock pâté, followed by an all-star selection including deluxe vol-au-vent, crispy calf's brains or steak served with a sauce so exquisite you'll find yourself licking the plate clean; finish with a decadent dame blanche (vanilla ice cream smothered in hot dark chocolate).
